Last week Mandy and Ian couldnt have been more helpful and kind spirited. I contacted them with a difficult ask as our plumber had left us with a difficult problem after abandoning the job he started. Mandy and Ian not only suggested parts from other suppliers, but actually came up with a part put together by an engineer and let us have it for nothing (adhering to social distancing). I would recommend them for their integrity and helpfulness, and would contact them first for future plumbing and heating needs. Thank you both so much.

After 5 years of continuous problems with our heating system including several call outs, independent surveys we were unable to get our system to work properly. I first met Ian Bowyer Managing Director of Portsdean in 2017 when he and his team were able to come up with a permanent solution to resolve an air lock in our hot water system. After last years bitterly cold winter we knew we had to get him back to sort out our heating system. Our system was so poor only half the radiators in the house would got hot. I am now pleased to report that our boiler is now working both very efficiently and cost effectively. Ian Bowyer is the only heating professional I have ever met who has an in depth knowledge of heating systems and can clearly see what needs to be done to achieve a first class working system. I fully endorse both him and his very helpful team. For the future I would not consider inviting any other company to manage our boiler systems. What a pleasure it is today to meet a knowledgeable and Professional organisation with a true commitment to offering a really good service.
